The WRTC 2006 Committee is offering a package of benefits for WRTC participants next July in Florianópolis. We understand that a trip to Brazil represents a large expense for few days in our country. We appreciate your support of our WRTC2006.
First of all, due to the good relationship we have with the owner of the Hotel Costal do Santinho, the most traditional Hotel in the area and located in a fantastic natural environment, we have been able to arrange an attractive deal with them. This allows us to use the hotel as the WRTC 2006’s Headquarters and at the same time to offer special accommodations for our honorable guests.
The Costao do Santinho normal rates are much higher than the offered ones and by far lower than any 5-Star Hotel in Florianopolis. Take a look at the site http://www.costao.com/versoes/ingles/
We are also hiring a Tourism Agency in Florianopolis to offer entertainment alternatives in the area and also tours to the most interesting spots all over Brazil, such as Amazon, Pantanal, Foz do Iguassu etc. The terms for these opportunities will be an incentive to visit some other parts of our country. |

The Package of Benefits:
1) Committee Members, Selected Competitors (not included MN MS), Selected Referees and Special Invited Guests:
|
- All of you, except Special Invited Guests, must make the booking with the Hotel yourselves. At check-in they will have information if you are entitled to a free package, WRTC will arrange the bookings for the Special Invited Guests.
|
- A total up to six days in the Hotel, including three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), paid by WRTC 2006 organizers (Rooms will be shared by two persons)
|
- Free tickets for all events during the WRTC 2006.
|
- Free Transport to and from the operating sites
|
- Free beverages in all events (including beer) – with some limitations
|
- For spouses and kids, the rate to be paid by the participant will be “Rate B”
|
- If the stay is extended, the rate for additional days will also be “Rate “A” for the competitor, referee or committee members and rate “B” for the family or visitors.
|
- Special rates for entertainment programs before or after the contest.
|
|
Note: The YASME foundation is supporting and helping the WRTC 2006 to promote and motivate the Young Teams to participate in WRTC2006. In addition to the benefits, as explained in this document, we can therefore provide support for the round trip to Brazil. The maximum value for this support is set to US$ 1,200 (One thousand and two hundred American dollars. The Selected YT Competitors will receive further information regarding this support. |
2) Applicants for Referees and Competitors - Not Selected:
- All of you must do the booking direct with the Hotel.

- All applicants that not are selected will receive the preferential “Rate A “ (Rooms will be shared by two persons)
|
- Free tickets for all events during the WRTC 2006.
|
- For spouses and kids the rate to be paid by the applicant will be “Rate B”
|
- If the stay is extended, the rate for additional days will also be “Rate B”Special rates for entertainment programs before or after the contest

3) Participants at MN MS
- All of you must do the booking direct with the hotel for the days you not stay at the MN MS station site.
|
- All Participants for MN MS will have free accommodation depending on availability at each Contest Station.
|
- The contest stations to be used are located in Sao Paulo (PY2), Parana (PY5), Sta Catarina (PP5), and Rio Grande do Sul State (PY3).
|
- MN MS operators should make travel arrangements to the Capital of those States; São Paulo, Curitiba, Florianopolis and Porto Alegre (respectively).
|
- WRTC 2006 will offer free transport from the arrival airport to the sites (Contest Stations)
|
- All the operators of the MN MS stations will be responsible for their meals at the site.
|
- At the majority of those sites the owners of the stations will provide food during the contest (this will include Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
|
- All the operators of the MN MS stations are invited to come before and after the contest to WRTC-2006 HQ at Hotel Santinho. “Rate B” will be charged by the Hotel. Travel arrangements for this, as well as booking of the hotel must be made by the participants.

- Free tickets for all events during their stay in Hotel Costao do Santinho.
|
- If the stay is extended, the rate for additional days will also be “Rate B”
|
- Special rates for entertainment programs before or after the contest.
|

4) Visitors:
All visitors interested in Ham Radio and WRTC are encouraged to come for our WRTC 2006.
|
To the visitors, WRTC 2006 is offering accommodations at “Rate B” and they are invited to participate in all events during the WRTC 2006. |
We will have several shows and presentations at which every visitor will be very welcome paying a very attractive rates for it. |
The Hotel and Tourism Agency will also make available very special prices for the visitors. |

5) Hotel Daily Rates
- RATE A – All rates are net plus 5% tax

- Standard Single Room (one person/room) US$107.00/day/person including three meals; (breakfast, lunch and dinner). |

- Standard – Double, triple, etc. (Two, three or 4 persons) US$75.00 /day/person including three meals; breakfast, lunch and dinner. Extra Bed - US$26.00. |
| |
- Children up to 3 years are free of charge if no extra bed is needed. |
| |
- Children from 4 up to 11 years may stay at one-half the adult rate. |
| |
|
- RATE B - All rates are net plus 5% tax
|
| |
- Stadard Single Room (one person/room) US$120.00/day/person including three meals; breakfast, lunch and dinner. |

- Standard – Double, triple, etc. (Two, three or 4 persons) US$85.00 /day/person including three meals; breakfast, lunch and dinner. Extra Bed - US$39.00. |

- Children up to 3 years are free of charge if no extra bed is needed. |

6) Alternative Hotel:
As a lower cost alternative we also offer accommodations at the Hotel PRAIATUR located 10 minutes drive from the Hotel Costao do Santinho. |

We are negotiating with the Hotel for special rates during the event and will announce the rates in due time. |
All the main events and HQ will be held in Hotel Costao do Santinho. |
|
7) Standard Kit of Material:
Every Committee member, Referee, and Competitor will receive a complete Kit - Bag at the reception desk immediately after de arrival. This Kit-Bag will contain all information about the event and some gifts. |

8) Period of the Event:
For the free and discounted days at the Hotel Costao do Santinho, the following period applies :
Wednesday 05-Tuesday 11th July, check out time is 11:00. |
