Estaremos honrados em receber o maior numero possível de Brasileiros na primeira edição de nosso conteste IRON HAM.
Estamos nos aproximando do final de ano e da data estipulada de 29/30 de Dezembro para voce poder exercitar as suas habilidades de operação nas três modalidades Fonia, CW e RTTY em um único conteste.
Serão 24 de operação em que o participante poderá operar um máxmo de 8 horas em cada modalidade, em períodos de tempo não inferiores a (uma) 1 hora.
Voce poderá estabelecer QSOs com radioamadores em todo o mundo nas três modalidades (inclusive internamente no Brasil), sendo que os multiplicadores serão o numero de zonas e entidades em cada modo independentemente da banda trabalhada.
Será o primeiro conteste com os três modos em uma mesma competição usando o mesmo conceito do afamado IRON MAN nos esportes.
Adicionalmente às placas e certificados oferecidos, estaremos premiando o vencedor SOAB e um representante do vencedor da categoria M2 com 4 dias de estada e passagem interna no Brasil em uma cidade Brasileira (que disponha de uma estação de conteste). Os vencedores poderão escolher uma data em que haja um conteste para combinar conteste com lazer.
Nesta primeira edição não haverá a necessidade de gravar a participação conforme o requisitado nas regras.
Teremos disponível dois log SWs que poderão ser utilizados pelos participantes.

I kindly ask you few moments of your attention.
We are approaching the date where you can show your expertise on a competition with the three modes at the same time – SSB – CW and RTTY.
Next December 29th starting at 12:00 GMT for 24 hours till December 30th 11:59 the Araucaria Dx Group is proud to announce the first edition of the HIRON HAM CONTEST
The participants will have the unique chance to operate the three main modes. SSB, CW,and RTTY in one single competition.
A maximum of 8 hours of each mode is allowed. You can contact stations all over the world, including your country.
Multipliers are the number of zones and entities on each mode independently of the band.
The idea is to offer a unique opportunity to combine all three major ham modes in one single contest similar as the very well known Hiron Man in the sports.
In addition to plaques and certificates and aiming an closer integration between the contest world community we will offer to the winner of SOAB category and one representative of the Multi-Two category a totally free acomodation in any Brazilian city (with a contest station) of the winner preference. The winners will have at their disposal a contest station that can be used on a contest or simple DX operation. The prize include internal flights in Brazil and also food expenses.
For this first eddition the competitors doesn´t need to record the entire contest.
